Office of Fair Trading concerns
In August 2008, the Office of Fair Trading, reporting back regarding the acquisition of GCap by Global Radio indicated in their report that due to competition concerns and in accordance with the Communications Act 2003, Global Radio will have to remove at least one of their services from the NOW Swindon multiplex.[1] To comply with the ruling, Global Radio removed Chill from the multiplex on March 21, 2009.
